Terms of Service

The short version

Neural Dispatch publishes two email products: Pulse Check, a free world briefing, and the AI Model Risk Brief, a paid publication for model risk and compliance professionals (one edition a week is free). An AI model writes every edition and no person reviews it before it is sent. The editions are information, not advice. The paid plan renews every month until you cancel, and you can cancel online at any time.

1Agreeing to these terms

These terms are a contract between you and Zachery Link, a sole proprietor doing business as Neural Dispatch (“Neural Dispatch”, “we”), 3208 Moss Lane, Charlotte, NC 28206, United States. You accept them when you tick the box or press the button that says you agree, or by using the service after we have shown you them. You must be at least 18. If you use Neural Dispatch for an employer, you confirm you may accept these terms for it. Read our Privacy Policy too; it explains how we handle your information.

2The service

Pulse Check is a free world briefing sent by email on the days shown on our site.
The AI Model Risk Brief is a publication on AI governance, enforcement and model risk. One edition each week is free. The other editions are the paid plan.
The paid plan is not sold everywhere: section 15 lists where it is not available. The free editions are open to everyone.

The free editions are free of charge, may change or end, and are covered by these same terms. We may add, change or retire editions, days and features, and we will tell you in advance when a change affects something you pay for. We aim for reliable delivery but do not guarantee it: email can be delayed, filtered or lost.

3Your account

You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email address; there is no password. Keep your inbox secure and do not share sign-in links. One account is for one person. Give us accurate information.

4Paid plans, renewal and cancellation

AUTOMATIC RENEWAL — PLEASE READ. The paid plan is $19 per month. It renews automatically every month at the same price until you cancel. You can cancel online at any time from your dashboard, or by emailing support@readneuraldispatch.com. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again. There is no free trial; you are charged when you subscribe.

Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe. We charge your payment method when you subscribe and on each monthly renewal. Tax is added where we are required to collect it.
Price changes. We will email you at least 30 days before a price rise takes effect. If you do not want the new price, cancel before it starts.
Refunds. Fees are not refundable for a period already started, except as stated in sections 11 and 15, where the law requires it, or where we choose to as a courtesy. If you think we charged you in error, contact us within 30 days and we will review it.
Failed payments. If a payment fails we may pause delivery until it is fixed, and end the subscription if it stays unpaid.
Reminders. We will email you at least once a year to remind you of your plan, what it costs, and how to cancel.

5AI-written content

Every edition is written by an AI model (Claude, made by Anthropic) from news articles that our software selects. No person reviews an edition before it is sent. We review delivered editions periodically for quality and consistency, audit them, and change how future editions are made based on what we find. AI can misstate facts, miss developments, misattribute, or carry over an error from a source. Each section is written from a news article and links it; a section marked BACKGROUND is one whose source link could not be made, and it has no link. Regulatory citations come from a table we maintain and review, but we do not promise it is complete or current.

6Information, not advice

Neural Dispatch is general information. It is not legal, regulatory, compliance, audit, risk, financial, investment, medical or other professional advice, and it does not tell you what your own obligations are. Do not rely on an edition as the only basis for a compliance, validation, governance or business decision. Check the primary source, and consult a qualified professional. You stay responsible for your own decisions and regulatory obligations.

7Other people's content

Editions summarise and link to articles and documents published by others. We do not control them and are not responsible for them. Their copyright, trademarks and other rights belong to their owners; their names are used only to say where something came from. If you believe an edition infringes your rights, write to support@readneuraldispatch.com with the details and we will look at it promptly.

8Using the service

You agree not to: copy, scrape or systematically republish editions or sell them; use the service to break the law or others' rights; try to manipulate, extract the instructions of, or circumvent the AI system through instructions or feedback; interfere with the service or probe its security; use automated tools to access it other than normal email and browsing; or give us false information. You may forward an individual edition to a colleague and quote short excerpts with attribution.

9What you give us

Your instructions and feedback remain yours. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use them to operate, secure and improve Neural Dispatch. Do not include confidential information, personal information about others, or anything unlawful.

10Ownership and your licence

The Neural Dispatch name, logos, site design, and the way editions are compiled and structured belong to us. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read editions, keep copies, and share excerpts as described above. Text written by an AI may not be protected by copyright, so we do not promise that no one else can use similar text.

11Suspension and ending

You can stop at any time (section 4). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, abuse the service, commit fraud, or if your address repeatedly bounces or is reported as spam. If we end a paid plan other than for those reasons, we will refund the unused part of the period. An account that receives no editions is deleted 90 days later, as our Privacy Policy explains.

12Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, TIMELINESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

13Limit on liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, NEURAL DISPATCH IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, OR FOR LOSSES FROM RELYING ON AN EDITION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF WHAT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or removes rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.

14Governing law and disputes

North Carolina law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, contact us and give us 30 days to resolve it. Claims will be brought in the state or federal courts for Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and each of us consents to those courts, except that mandatory consumer-protection law where you live still applies to you.

15Where the paid plan is sold, and California

Where the paid plan is not sold. The paid plan is not available to residents of Albania, Angola, Armenia, Aruba, Bahamas, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Cameroon, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, the European Union, Georgia, Guinea, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Manitoba (Canada), Mauritania, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, North Korea, North Macedonia, Oman, Peru, Russia, Saskatchewan (Canada), Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, South Korea, Syria, Tajikistan, Tanzania, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Uruguay, Uzbekistan and Vietnam. If you buy it from one of those places anyway, we will cancel it and refund you in full. The free editions are available everywhere.
California. Neural Dispatch is operated by Zachery Link, 3208 Moss Lane, Charlotte, NC 28206, support@readneuraldispatch.com. Complaints may be sent to the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs, 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N112, Sacramento, CA 95834, (800) 952-5210.

16Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For a material change we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new terms; if you do not agree, cancel before it takes effect.

17General

These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the service. If a part is unenforceable the rest stays in force. A failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights; we may transfer ours as part of a sale of the business. Neither of us is liable for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control. We send notices to your account email; you send them to support@readneuraldispatch.com. You agree that we may send you notices and records electronically. You may not use the service where you are prohibited by law or sanctions.
