Neural Dispatch ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information We Collect

When you subscribe to Neural Dispatch, we collect your email address, payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store your card details), and the topic preferences, tone and depth settings, and custom instructions you provide during onboarding. We also collect feedback you submit through our feedback system, including section-level feedback notes and topic switch requests. When you visit our website, our hosting provider (Vercel) may log standard server access data including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited.

Cookies and Session Data

We use cookies solely for authentication. When you sign in via a magic link, our authentication provider (Supabase) sets a session cookie that keeps you logged in across pages. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any cookies for analytics purposes. Your browser's localStorage may store non-sensitive UI preferences (such as admin settings) that never leave your device.

How We Use Your Information

Your email address is used to deliver your daily newsletter and account-related communications (billing confirmations, subscription updates). Your topic preferences, custom instructions, and feedback are used to personalize your newsletter content through our AI generation system. We retain the last several generated newsletters per subscriber in order to support the retry and administrative tools that keep the service running. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

AI-Generated Content

Your newsletter content is generated by an AI system (Claude by Anthropic) based on your preferences. Your topic selections, custom instructions, and feedback are sent to Anthropic's API as part of the content generation process. This data is used solely to personalize your newsletter. Per Anthropic's API usage policy, data submitted via API is not used to train their models.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Neural Dispatch, each governed by their own privacy policy:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe handles all card data; we store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
• Supabase — database and authentication. Subscriber data including email, preferences, and newsletter history is stored here.
• Resend — email delivery. Your email address and newsletter content are transmitted through Resend to deliver each edition.
• Anthropic — AI content generation. Your preferences and feedback are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate personalized content.
• Vercel — website hosting and infrastructure. Vercel serves our web application and may log standard request metadata.
• Upstash — rate limiting. Request metadata (IP address, email) is used briefly for abuse prevention and is not retained long-term.
• Sentry — error monitoring. Error reports may include request context to help us diagnose and fix bugs.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel your subscription, we will retain your data for 30 days in case you wish to resubscribe, after which it will be permanently deleted. You may request immediate deletion at any time by contacting us. Feedback notes automatically expire after 14 days and are no longer used in content generation, though they remain in our database unless you request deletion.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can update your preferences from your dashboard or contact us directly to request a copy or deletion of your data.

California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

EU/EEA residents (GDPR): You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
